Ditch it then. It will be nice to rid the forum of a few whiners and get back to people who actually want to receive help. The Opera team has come a very long way in providing in a very short time, an excellent browser. Is it perfect? No. But it's getting better on a monthly basis and many, like myself, are very excited about that.

In a short period of time?? They're on version 30! Opera has been around for years and years! You don't think that perhaps the frustration is 1 - How could this not have been caught in beta testing before being released to the public? Bookmarks are a basic functionality. Even the simplest of test scripts should involve testing the bookmarks. And 2 - where is the fix?

Nothing is shown in the "My Folders" dropdown. Everything is shown correctly in the Bookmarks pane from Speed Dial but not in that folder.

That is a known problem that happens to all, and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I find it pretty incredulous that not only would Opera release a version with such a huge bug in it, but that they still have not released a fix for it.

Since this is a thread for feature requests, I think it would be very practical to have an option in the advanced settings to turn auto-updates on or off.

I do not want Opera 30 on my system. The bookmarks are broken in version 30. I specifically downloaded version 29 and installed that, but then it automatically updated itself back to 30 (and as soon as it did, the bookmarks disappeared out of the folders). Is there a way to turn off the option to auto update so that I can stay on 29?

What is he point of having synchronization if it doesn't sync speed dial? If It doesn't think everything, then I don't want it.
