I opened a request about this issue 15 days ago, but I haven’t received a response yet, so I’m posting again here in case someone can help.

I’m having a persistent issue with the Google AI Overview feature in Opera GX. The "Reply" button (the follow-up option) often doesn’t appear or disappears after a few searches. Clearing cache and cookies temporarily brings it back, but the problem returns shortly after.

It seems to happen specifically in Opera GX, and I don’t notice the same behavior in other browsers. Could this be related to the built-in Ad Blocker, Tracking Protection, or GX Control settings? If anyone has found a permanent fix or knows which setting might be causing this, I’d really appreciate the help.

@Rozelle-ly Basically, it means the developer has completely stopped working on the extension. There won't be any new updates, bug fixes, or support.

To answer your question about what probably happened: since a lot of these extensions are free, solo side-projects, developers often just get busy with life or move on to other things and don't have the time to maintain them anymore.

The extension might still work for a bit, but as the browser gets updated over time, it will eventually break permanently since no one is around to update its code.

I am a heavy user of Google Drive, and I rely on the keyboard shortcut sequence 'Alt' followed by 'C' to quickly create a new folder.

Currently, in Opera GX, pressing the 'Alt' key immediately triggers the browser menu in the top-left corner. This prevents me from completing the shortcut sequence for Google Drive, as the browser intercepts the 'Alt' key press before I can press 'C'.

It would be incredibly helpful if there were an option in the settings to disable the 'Alt' key from opening the browser menu. This would greatly improve my workflow and productivity while using web-based applications. Thank you for considering this improvement!
