@panyann that's actually the expected behavior .
You have to hold the button to keep scrolling. The click + up/down is the default scroll behavior without any addons.

@panyann checkout the Options page and make sure you are using the correct button (middle by default). Also, maybe you are using also some other extension (maybe for gestures?) that overrides it? But I didn't heard about any compatibility issues recently (or at all).

But read the description about pages where it doesn't work:

• does not work HERE on https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/ (blocked by Opera)
• does not work on browser specific pages like "History" or "Extensions" (blocked by Opera)
• does not work on other extensions pages like options page of some addon (blocked by Opera)

Also I'm unable to upload new version here so I would suggest you to get latest version from Chrome Store:

I've noticed the add-on for overriding New tab page got deleted recently:

It's still in Googles cache.

Is there a way to get it back? I have it installed and it still works, it just can't be downloaded anymore.

I'm asking because I'm author of Group Speed Dial add-on and since my add-on is awaiting moderation since May 23, 2017 (!!!), this "Custom New Tab Page" was only way to get it properly work in Opera (after installing it from Chrome web store).

You can also use "Custom New Tab Page" add-on to override New tab page with any URL, including your favorite add-on new tab page URL. I'm using it with my Group Speed Dial add-on and it works well.
