Opera for WindowsIMAP messages very slow to load
I have a Gmail IMAP account. Opera is very slow to open messages. It can take several minutes. Is there a configuration setting I need to adjust? Is this just how Opera works?

Opera for WindowsGmail certificates rejected, approval not recorded
Opera mail is rejecting Google Mail's certificate when I send mail. When I tell it to approve it and remember my selection it sends the mail but doesn't remember my selection. I saw in the help where there should be a "Security" section in the advanced preferences but it's not there.
I am running Opera mail 1.0, build 1040 on Windows 8.1.
