@homoguy563 You probably could copy the content of the old profile directory and paste into the new one if Android didn't limit access to the directories.
How do I do that?

I'm trying to move my data more specifically my open tabs(with their individual histories intact) from my old phone(A Samsung Galaxy S9+/Android 8)to my new phone(A Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G/Android 12).Everything I keep reading just says "log into your account and turn on sync".On my new phone when I tap on the tab icon then the computer and phone icon I see my tabs from the other phone, but I don't want to have to tap each and every tab to open it because I have over 1,200(Yeah, I know.I'm a hoarder, but that's an issue for another day) and when I do open them the back and forward arrows are grayed out.Their histories are gone.Is there any way to integrate that data into the Opera on my new phone, so I can pick back up where I left off as if I was still using my old phone?
Why does this have to be so difficult? If I were switching from one computer to another all I would have to do is copy my browser profile folder into the browser's program folder on the new PC, open it, and it's exactly like I left it as if nothing changed.Atleast that's how it is with Firefox and Chrome.I don't know about the desktop version of Opera. Why can't there be some equivalent process for Android to make this kind of thing seemless?
