@holdmygoose If you mean the search engine in the start page, that doesn't change. In my region it is always Google, in Russia it is always Yandex, etc. You can hide the search box in the start page and just use the address bar - that one can be changed, but only among the original built-in searches.
Alternatively you could try editing the settings files by hand to convince Opera you were in a different region, though you'd probably need to repeat that after each update.
