I also want this feature. I don't want to keep my history for privacy reasons. Can this feature be done within Opera without relying on an extension. I try to minimize extensions to not affect the browser performance. Firefox has an option to not keep history or limit to a number of days.

I tried it but it's cumbersome. 1. click the opera icon. 2. click the quit button. 3. do you want to close the open tabs?. And I usually don't close apps. I just swipe the app to the left/right to exit. Most androids apps don't even have an 'exit' button so it doesn't feel natural.

Can you put the option of the start page on the mobile version? Now when I open opera on mobile, it loads the last page I was on. I want it to start on a blank page. The Windows version has this option. I use a mobile data plan for my smartphone when I'm not at home and I don't have a lot bandwidth. Opera will use up my data plan if it loads the site that I was previously on.
