That's great, thanks a lot. I didn't know it would be that simple. I've got it down to a much more manageable 125MB. BTW, how do you export the extension list? I can't find any option for this.

I want to backup my profile to Dropbox but the Opera Next folder is almost 3GB is size. Is there a way to reduce this?

Alternatively, you could install a password manager in FF, let it copy passwords, and then install same password manager in Opera. I used this method with LastPass to transfer passwords from Chrome and it worked well.

I've just moved back to Opera after using Cent Browser for a while.
I'm thoroughly impressed so far.
One question - Ithink it would be really useful to have a VPN on/off button that's vivible all the time - eg on toolbar or side bar - is there a way to achieve this?
