i'm actually having this exact issue at the moment too

it's only for certain websites (?) and sometimes the freezing is varying:

sometimes will freeze completely but i can open more tabs (no response visually though but i can hear the opening tab sfx and likewise i can hear it close too if i manage to click somewhere and close the tab) the same situation as above but the entire browser is frozen will only "freeze" sometimes but then proceeds to load things very very very slowly if at all

i haven't added or changed any extensions and the only thing that's been changed was updating the browser
