i'm actually having this exact issue at the moment too

it's only for certain websites (?) and sometimes the freezing is varying:

• sometimes will freeze completely but i can open more tabs (no response visually though but i can hear the opening tab sfx and likewise i can hear it close too if i manage to click somewhere and close the tab)
• the same situation as above but the entire browser is frozen
• will only "freeze" sometimes but then proceeds to load things very very very slowly if at all

i haven't added or changed any extensions and the only thing that's been changed was updating the browser
