Opera does not save some web pages. It appears random, but I have to check every single page to ensure it has saved. This costs me a couple of hours a day as I save more than 100 pages a day. I've posted this before and all I've gotten back are smart ass comments from the moderator.

How to report a recalcitrant moderator?Forum feedback
Please, I need some serious help, not smartass remarks from the current moderator. Why does Opera save some webpages with no problem, but others it just saves the _files folder but not the html. It also saves pages from some sites without a problem, but from others, such as Politico, NYTimes, Boston Globe and a few others, it saves a few properly but it mostly doesn't. This is a serious matter for me. May I please have some serious help?

Opera does not save web pages properlyOpera for Windows
When I save a webpage, about 20% of the time Opera only saves the part that goes into the xxx._files page. It does not save the html page. This has caused me great difficulty since I've been working on a project for the past 12 years. I've only been using Opera for about 4 months but I have no way to go back and find the pages i've saved and never knew it hadn't been saved properly. This archive I'm working on is larger than 300 GB and is critical to my work as a researcher and writer. The last time I asked for help all I got was a smartass response from the administrator: "You don't check to see if a webpage has been saved?" I'm sorry but until I started using Opera, I never had to check.

RE: Opera does not save web pages properlyOpera for Windows
@leocg Please don't be a smartass. I just started using Opera about 3 months ago. I don't know how many web pages I've lost in that time. But I'm quitting Opera and will badmouth it for the rest of my life. I'm going back to Firefox which is a good browser except for it's latest upgrade which prohibits add-ons I like to use. Goodbye.

Opera does not save web pages properlyOpera for Windows
Opera does not save web pages properly. I have an archive of web pages covering the last twenty years. I've discovered since I've been using Opera that not every web page I've saved has in fact, been saved. A lot of the time all it saves is the folder that accompanies the actual html. This has cost me dearly as my archive is incomplete as I've "saved" over 2000 web pages in more than 1600 different categories. You've destroyed twenty years of work and I've no way of correcting the errors this defect has caused.
