No, the active tab remains open. All the other ones get closed one after the other. "Full configuration of the system and browser install"? Well, I'm not a computer expert. It's the latest version of Opera, I had installed it one week ago, under Windows 7 Professional. I also installed the Chrome extension Session Buddy that allowed me to import the session from Chrome into Opera (with the intention to continue with Opera from now on). So the session where the tabs closed had been imported before by Session Buddy from Chrome.

Tabs closing by themselvesOpera for Windows
For years, I was using the old Opera, up to version 12. When the new Opera was released, I switched over to Firefox. Now I've rediscovered Opera and been working with it for some days - and I'm surprised that it's NOT that Chrome clone I had suspected it to be. On the whole, I'm quite satisfied with this Opera browser.
However: there is one problem. I often have 30 or 40 tabs open at the same time, which for Firefox or Chrome never was a problem. For Opera, it obviously is: it starts closing one tab after the other until only one remains open. I went through all the options but I couldn't find anything that would stop that behaviour.
Any advice anybody? I either have to configure Opera in a way that the tabs remain open or find an extension that keeps my tabs until I've gone through them and closed them.
