In Opera Mail's profile folder, look for a folder named sessions and delete the file autosave.win. Open Opera and see if it helped.
Hey I can't seem to locate a profile folder or sessions. I did a search for autosave within the AppData/Local/Opera Mail/ folder with no luck:
Every time I open Opera Mail it always loads with 5 or 6 tabs I had opened back in December. I close them every day, but the program never opens from the last state, it always resorts back to how it was in December. It must be cached somewhere but it use to show the state it was last in whenever I opened it and suddenly stopped working.
It's annoying me, help please?
Look for a file called operaprefs.ini under c:/users/xxxx/AppData/Local/Opera Mail/ , it's probably under a folder called profile.
With Opera Mail closed open that file in a text editor and edit those lines (Check if they don't exist already):
[Mail]
Mail Root Directory=c:/users/xxxx/AppData/Local/Opera Mail/mail
Save the file, close the editor and open Opera Mail. It should see your data know.

When I go to c:/users/xxxx/AppData/Local/Opera Mail/ There is an operamail.exe but when I open it, it asks me to create an email account as if I have none. I'm kind of freaking out right now.

I do see my accounts.ini that has my accounts in there and signature.txt files. But I'm sort of lost what to do here, do I do a fresh install of Opera Mail and will it find this data?

I upgraded my system to Windows 10, but can't find Opera Mail anymore on my system??? I have literally 100,000+ emails and I'm concerned now. All I see is regular Opera.

I have 5 email accounts connected to my Opera Mail client. If I go to All Messages > Received (my preferred view), all emails received for the gmail account show duplicates. However, if I go to the gmail account > INBOX it only shows one email just like when logged in to gmail.
Any idea why in the main All Messages Received inbox I would be seeing two emails for 1 gmail account even though when you go directly to the inbox there is only 1? It started doing this back on May 4th FYI.

I've been a dedicated Opera user for 13 years since Version 5 (with the bloated shareware ad & ICQ). I've supported and backed every move and every year I've had people tell me I'm completely insane to continue using it.
I understand moving to the Blink engine (somewhat) and I'm especially grateful for having a separate email client now which quickly imported my 70,000 emails. But I'll never understand releasing a browser that doesn't cater to the vast majority of its users, the veteran Opera users. Relying on 3rd party extensions for bookmark importing and offering a less than ideal product out of box than any competitor is a major step back. Opera is (was) the inventor, the guinea pig we can rely on for new features, options and ideas that competitors can only copy.
This could have been avoided by just releasing this as an Opera 'Lite' version while continuing with Presto until a proper browser was ready for public release. I'm disappointed, but thanks for the email client, that's all I need to move on for now with Chrome until you get it sorted out.
