Yup, same settings as far as I can make out, and both using latest version

Hi. I have Opera 37 running on a Win 8 laptop and the extensions sidebar will remain visible if I close Opera and re-start it.
On my Win 7 Pro PC I cannot get it to remain visible.
Any help gratefully received!
