We did not mean to be rude nor sound bizzare in our response, we were just stating technical details on what we assumed you were mentioning in your feedback (cookies) and their development over the years.

@maltepruser Ghostery is a standalone privacy protection tool and doesn't rely on Opera's Privacy Protection features. The setup remains your decision.
What we advise to do additionally to installing Ghostery is giving permissions to Ghostery extension to block ads and trackers on search engine result pages. This simple guide shows how:

We are assuming you mean cookies with "files on my browsers". Historically cookies were small files saved on the computer, nowadays they residue in a cookie store, which is a database so there are no more residual files.
Additionally browser add-ons have no way to touch such files. We conclude that you reached an incorrect conclusion here.
