Apart all discussions about Opera 12-style vs new WebKit era.... I would say ONE THING (three, really...) about the old Opera features that I loved. All of them about downloads.
- When you donwload from a site a long series of files... you don't need a panel sequence (each panel representing a single download). You need a GRID! Just like in Opera old style, which was GREAT. A grid! is what you need.
- When you SAVE a file, for instance, a JPG... you "save", I mean, you right-click on the file and save it... this is NOT a download... and old Opera was acting like that, not listing the saved file in the download list. Correct! It was great!
- The old "right-click" feature: "Save in the download folder" was GREAT too. And it was saving not the thumbnail, but the linked file. GREAT! And now it's lost.
Opera ideas about downloads were excellent! Consider put them back.
