When I download pdfs from Opera onto my Desktop, I get the confirmation that they have been downloaded but they do not appear anywhere on my computer. There are two ways to access the files I have downloaded: either searching specifically for them in the finder or through the terminal. I was able to move them to another directory and back to the desktop with the terminal and then they appeared on the desktop. Is that an opera or a macOS problem? And how do I fix it? The file shuffling is just annoying and I often want to download stuff to my desktop
