I used the Opera browser for over 10 years. I no longer use it. I don't like the browsers I'm using (FireFox and Chrome), but I continue to use them regardless, because it's better than the pain of trying to use the post version 12 Opera browsers.
I learned a long time ago that you can give your customers practically anything, but you can't later take it back, and expect your customer to be happy. In your case it is worse, because the 'anything' was quite excellent.
I keep checking back in once in a while to see if things have improved. Other than finally adding a bookmark capability, they have not.
Instead of continuing to lead (remember when everyone stole your creative ideas?), you have decided to copy the look of the market share leaders (FF, Chrome), and you have created something that is still (after what, 2 or more years?) not as capable as what you abandoned.
