Thanks, dalatkid17, but to start Opera maximized ist not the suggestion to my problem. Opera doesn't remember it's size and position in windowed mode.

At last I will check upcoming version 47, otherwise i will switch to Vivaldi.

Same on Opera 45.0.2552.635.

on Ubuntu (Unity), elementary OS (Gala), KDEneon (Plasma) Opera 43 doesn't remember window size and position anymore.

Steps to reproduce: set startup behavior to other than continue, move and resize Opera's window, close Opera, start Opera. Window settings will be lost.

Opera 43 doesn't store window settings in ~/.config/Opera/Preferences anymore.

It seems to be fixed now.

May be another line than 267 in browser.js file causes the problem. Opera ignores edited browser.js file in the short time until Opera will have it restored automaticly.

I think this problem is caused by line 267 of the file browser.js. Without this line the Google apps menu appears by clicking the button. I can't delete or comment out this line because opera restores the changed or deleted broser.js file automaticly.
