Have discovered various flaws with Opera 23, the version for Windows. And I will list them here. If anyone has a solution or an idea, let me know.
1.) Whenever you right click on something and click "Open in a new tab", half of the items you do this with opens the new tab, but it doesn't load the page. Sometimes you need to do it 3 times before it actually loads the page, and there is nothing being done differently than any other attempt.
2.) Saving images to your computer. Previous Opera versions allowed you to save a picture, simply by right click, save image. With Opera 23, that feature is gone. And the help forums contain no detail to assist. I must say I always find it peculiar that the software gets released before a "user's manual" is released. None of the solutions I googled on this issue (such as adding "trusted web pages" to a list for Opera) is available or workable in Opera 23. (Opera 23 doesn't seem to have a "trusted section any more") Any ideas to work around this?
3.) When installing Opera 23, it doesn't ask if you want to uninstall older versions... "Dumber" users may not realise this, and then sit with several Opera versions on their PC, which may (in theory) create other problems later on. Clashes or crashes or errors or whatever. Just my IT experience.
4.) Opera Software ASA, seriously, saved sessions? You remember that feature? PLEASE BRING IT BACK. Come on guys, it is sometimes the smallest little feature that makes a browser awesome, and removing that one little thing makes everyone run for the hills. Let's think about this for a minute shall we.
So yep, it may be that even older Opera versions also have these flaws, but then you should see this as a warning, in the future your browser might die a sad death...
