RE: Flash Player EndsOpera for Windows
Thanks for that it's a minefield. "Which virus will get me first" is the name of a new game on Dave TV. (In our house).
My new Vid Player is first class. - Opera for Windows

RE: Flash Player EndsOpera for Windows
@Alphablake Glad to say that my web page has come up with a brilliant VID player which is also an improvement on the old. So far seen it work with Opera and Avast Browsers on my PC and on my tablet. I've no doubt it will work throughout my kit.
Nice to see a streaming supplier being so co-operative. -

@leocg OK great! You have now made me so happy that I'm going for a brew. Thanks, Danke, Merci, Vielen Dank etc. Happy Christmas, Weihnachten, Noel*.
P.S. Please, please be right.
*OK sorry a bit over the top. -
RE: Flash Player EndsOpera for Windows
Thanks for your efforts and comments but I cannot see any 'Must' at all!
I cannot find a way to make a new Video Player work with my browser and/or streaming web page. Even communicating with the streaming providers has given zilch. Because I am ancient and unsure of the methodology I am stumped. I can make meta Penta Phenyl Ether. Which retails at >£1000/L. Sorry what with this, Covid and some other problems I'm drifting into self pity. I've just been told not to worry as an Amazon Prime
subscription will give me all the sport I want - and only 80 quid. Yipeeee! -
RE: Browser Video PlayerOpera for Windows
Thanks for your efforts. As I understand it the Vid Player is embedded in the Browser and not in the web page supplying the Vid content? If that's the case I need a Video player for the Opera Browser? So surely
that should be easy. I've just reviewed what I've written and surely I'm
talking nonsense. I'm so far behind the curve on this I think I'm in an alternate Universe. [I can make PentaPhenylEther if you need it].

Flash Player EndsOpera for Windows
Adobe tell me that they will block Flash content from running in Flash Player from January 12 2020 [not June!]. Which leaves me with a problem of how to play streaming video. Any help will be appreciated.

RE: Browser Video PlayerOpera for Windows
Thanks for that I'll have a go. But you may be interested to know that Adobe sent me this message:-
"Adobe WILL block Flash content from running in Flash Player from
June 12 2020"
I've quoted that verbatim so it seems like a real threat!

RE: Browser Video PlayerOpera for Windows
@leocg Thanks again. Well obviously I don't know what I'm doing! I think the common feature here is the website I'm getting the videos from as both tablets now don't play videos from news-source. As for the other matter: some info came through and the following was on the front: Opera 86.0.4240 I took it as the latest version.

RE: Browser Video PlayerOpera for Windows
OK thanks for quick reply. I will need to wait till Jan 1st to find if it holds up. In the meantime the video player on both my tablets will not work at all on Opera. Any ideas, please?

Win10 and Opera 74.0
My Video Player will soon stop working on the browser. [Adobe dis - continuing]. Can you reccomend a substitute and a method to install it?
[I'm rather old and not savvy enough with this]. Thank you.
