The Opera Link is the "old" bookmark sync system that is present in Opera Mini and Opera 12.16, and Opera Blink (actually, 26 version) uses a different bookmark sync system. You can download the 12.16 version and, in the case of Windows, both versions can work together. Fortunately, you can import the synched bookmarks of Opera 12.16 using Opera Link, and import it to Opera 26 using the bookmark importer.

PS: In GNU/Linux, install both versions of Opera is practically impossible.

Ah, before that forget this, the way to install the legacy version of Opera (I mean, the 12.16 version), you must have to put the following on your Debian Jessie/ubuntu/Mint terminal:

apt-get install opera

And voilá, Opera Legacy installed.

Well, the repo is back for now, and they updated the Opera 12.16.x (a.k.a. "the Legacy version"). In the case of Opera Mini, it works perfectly for me since Peru, and the main performance problems are mainly since my Samsung Galaxy Mini flashed with CM 7.2.

Everything fine since Debian 8.0 Jessie (still in beta).

I tested PDF Viewer, and this addon works perfectly to me. However, since Opera changed the render engine, i miss the Opera Mail.

Well, I've seen some interesting mail clients made in JavaScript that can be useful is they can be converted as addons: browsermail and email.js.

I hope that gonna appear on the Opera Addons catalog to be enjoyed.

I've suffered the same problem and sometimes the folder wich contains the mentioned version that finally appeared with the respective versions (Windows, OSX, and GNU/Linux).

In GNU/Linux port, is avariable for 64-bit by default. I hope that the Windows 64-bit users increase the demand of Opera for 64-bit platafforms.

En el blog de Opera Desktop, han anunciado la llegada del port de Opera Blink para Linux. Lo único que faltaría es que mejoren el sistema de sincrnización de enlaces Opera Link para que funcione mejor la sincronización con los marcadores en cada terminal instalado (Android, iOS).
