Thanks, I Think I got it. Although there is no "\profile\data\ folder" per se, there is a "opera stable folder" that opera says my profile is stored in. I'm guessing thats it. At least I hope so 'cause once I begin the tear down everything is gone.

Can you be more specific, since: \Program Files (x86)\Opera\ Doesn't contain a folder titled profile

I am upgrading my operating system from window 7 to windows 8. I am going to do a clean install so everything will be wiped. I want to save my speed dial list to another hd so I can restore them in opera when I reinstall it in windows 8. None of the help files are of any use is figuring out how to do this.
