Perhaps your country is now blocking the IP(s) used by the VPN. There's no reason to believe the people operating the blockers aren't aware of mechanisms used to bypass blocking and may take action accordingly.

It is impossible because I can still use Opera VPN with my old laptop, but not on new one.

This is really frustrating. I was using Opera for only VPN. I really wish devs would find a solution for my problem.

I was using the built in vpn for a long time on my last laptop. A week ago, my new laptop came and I installed Opera on it. First 2 days, built in vpn worked great. But since 5 days ago it stopped working properly. I cannot turn it on. It is stuck on "connecting" and never connects. I uninstalled Opera and installed it back, I deleted my browser history, none of them worked. I'm living in a country where a lot of websites are blocked, so I really need a vpn, and I am too poor to use a paid one. Please help me.
