Since O43 I'm finding it impossible to simply save PDFs instead of having them open automatically. If I disable the chrome PDF viewer they open automatically in Preview (happens in OSX 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12), which is my default reader; if I leave the chrome plugin enabled they open in browser.

I download PDFs every day. I don't always want to open them straight away. Please bring back the ability to save PDFs with a single click and without disrupting workflows - I neither want another app to open by default when I click on a pdf link, or to have to tell the chrome pdf viewer to save the PDF to disk after it has loaded. I want to simply download them and have them be handled like any other downloaded file, all the extra clicking makes me quite inefficient.
