Opera mini is not yet available for windows phones. We, the diehard opera fans have been begging for an opera mini release for windows phones but Opera is yet to budge. Such a release will easily shoot Opera mini to the most popular app in the Windows phone store .

Let's hope the developers and those that call the shots at opera heed our belated request.

Using version 8.0.2 on my iPad mini, I can't get the "discover" page to open articles in the background. I think it will be a great feature if long-pressing an article gives options e.g. "Open in background", "open" and "open in new page".

I have tried it but prefer opera mini because of the data compression on a limited bandwidth

Opera mini has served as a lifesaver to lots of us over the years and across several platforms because of its data conserving features. We have waited patiently for years for Opera to update Opera mini for ipad. Frequent updates bring new features to the table and plug security loopholes which we should never even know existed.
Can you please update Opera mini for ipad while including new and useful features. One of the features I will love to be included is the ability to copy a link from a webpage. Long pressing on a link should bring up a dialogue box where we can select the following options: "Open in new tab", "Open in background tab", "Copy link address" and "Copy text".
