I've used the mouse for a while now and I've started noticing it happening in Internet Explorer as well. Seems to be driver related.

RE: Horizontal scrolling problemOpera for Windows
I've tried a clean Opera 30 on the same machine (Windows 7 x64, Dell Latitude E6510) and I was able to recreate the issue. That means we can rule out the extensions. We can probably also rule out the version number.
I've also tried Opera 29 on my HP Stream 7 (Windows 8.1 x32) and the things I've tried thus far were not sufficient to recreate the issue.
My hunch is that the issue is either hardware specific, OS specific or dependent on other running processes.

RE: Horizontal scrolling problemOpera for Windows
Any site where a horizontal scrollbar can appear. That includes when you zoom in. I have opera://flags/#overlay-scrollbars enabled.
Some of multiple sites where I've managed to recreate the issue:
- opera://settings
I've got Auto Copy, Download Chrome Extension, Lastpass, QR Code Generator and TabHamster enabled.

RE: Horizontal scrolling problemOpera for Windows
I've tested a bit more and I've figured out that switching to another tab and scrolling horizontally there will make the scrollwheel work again.
Are anyone else having similar problems with horizontal scrolling? Is there a known bug?

Horizontal scrolling problemOpera for Windows
I've got a Logitech MX Master with a stepless thumbwheel. I'm using Windows 7 and Opera 29.0.1795.47. I have Logitech SetPoint and Options installed.
Some times I'm able to scroll horizontally in Opera, some times I'll be unable to. I'm not having this problem in Internet Explorer.
Are anyone else having similar problems with horizontal scrolling? Is there a known bug?

RE: Add tab switching gestureSuggestions and feature requests
+1
I feel pretty helpless when I can't switch tabs with the right mouse button and the mouse wheel. I miss this feature every day. And the extension doesn't work on pages that disable the context menu.

Better controls on 7" Windows tabletsSuggestions and feature requests
7" Windows tablets seem to be a trend this year, with several to choose from, even in some mainstream electronics stores. Opera is decent on those, but after trying Internet Explorer and the now scrapped "metro"-style Firefox mode, I realize the controls could be a lot better.
I've got an HP Stream 7 and I would adore a version of Opera tailored more to users like me. Also, some times the tablet, mobile or desktop version of sites works better. Perhaps include some sort of smart user agent and viewport features for those sites?

RE: Opera IRC is still upSuggestions and feature requests
I think they must consider the IRC network more of a community support service. But it's still being used for general stuff, such as the lounge, trivia games and even my gaming community (#AlterEgo) has a channel there (no need to warn me if you're gonna pull the plug on my channel or bots though. No seriously, I'll deal with it).
Also, try putting Mibbit in a pinned tab while you're waiting for an IRC extension.
