I get the warning msg every time I try to modify target line with this -private. Can you please post exactly how should target line look like?

Just make it doesn't auto close as it is case with other browsers, and all is solved. Or keep your head in sand, it's up to you.

I use latest stable Opera 64 and Win 10 64.
Can you post how should full target line look like in order to start in private mode and dark teme enabled?
I tried adding -private but no luck.

You still need to type text or whatever every time new page loads, so every time F3 then you start typing and only then looking through results.

It would be better if developers would just correct their small mistakes, such as this one, instead of always trying to "teach" users how to do it with 10 steps every time.

It is very simple.
I am sure lot of users are using "Find in page", but it is very annoying that it closes itself when loading another page. For example, I want to find something on certain website or whatever, but I need to load next page, and next page, and so on until I find it. But every time I go on to the next page, "Find in page" tab closes by itself and then I need to go again - menu - page - find in page. Okay, there is also Ctrl+F function, but you still need to type again everything.
It would be much better if it would just stay there with word that I am looking for. Firefox has this, it doesn't close by itself and it is there with whatever you type inside, until you decide to close it. Much much faster when looking for something that isn't listed on a very first page.

Ok, I see developers think this is not necessary, so let me ask them then. Why do you think there shouldn't be dark theme in private mode? I am sure you have good reason so lets hear.

So you want to say Opera uses WMP codecs and if I have WMP removed it can't play videos?
If that is correct then Opera is a joke and I will go back on Firefox.

Enterprise. I can play file in MPC-HC 64-bit, I don't use WMP, I have it removed.

It is latest Opera stable. Instagram videos also not playing.

That is message I get every time I try to play embed videos such as Twitter videos or Dailymotion videos, even gifs. It wasn't happening until last update.
I am using Windows 10 64-bit and latest Opera 64-bit. I have installed latest Flash player and AC3 Filter.
For playing any video format I use MPC-HC 64-bit, so I don't intend to install bunch of codecs without any reason.

So why this latest Opera version can't play embed videos?

Agreed. It should also be possible to use dark theme in private mode and also optional complete dark theme, not only top bar and menus but all bookmarks, option tabs etc.

Both requests for Opera for Windows.

1st:
It is just common sense really. Why would you include dark theme and then make it impossible to use in private mode?
If someone don't want to use it, he can disable it in options.

2nd:
Please add 3rd option for selected text, "google translate" (search, copy, google translate).
This would be very useful to be able to translate selected text without c/p text to new tab where you need to load google translate first. And it would be way faster.

Ok,so dark theme isn't dark at all, and also isn't available in private mode and developers see nothing wrong with that. Cool. Keep up the good work

I am using Opera 47 and dark theme isn't working in private mode.
Also no matter if normal or private mode, all options, bookmarks and other menus are white color, which doesn't make sense. Why is this happening if I have dark theme enabled, it should be all dark.
