I agree but I'll give you the same selfish answer you gave me. If you don't like it, go and use extensions. Opera minimalist is the best thing ever (sarcasm).

I don't see any big discussion there.
I hope devs talk about this, i think it's a mistake to force us instead give us the power of choice when it's not hard to implement something.

Please let us customize Opera! Its not big deal. I had to disable Opera tab preview.

Now i see that Opera announced this new feature as an easier and faster way to find tabs, but it takes me longer than before, before i focused view on the tab and the small preview was next to that tab, now i have to re focus my view on a big preview wich takes me more time.
I WANT TO BE ALLOWED TO CUSTOMIZE MY OPERA!!

Yes thanks, i just saw this and i had to disable it but now i don't have another feature from the old Opera. Opera 12 was more customizable! I should be allowed to choose the two modes, big and small preview :S
Do devs read all our complains? Because i see a lot of people talking about the old features of Opera 12.

I hate the new Opera, it's faster, but i really miss some of the old features that made me choose Opera. I installed some extensions and unistalled in a few seconds because they all came with extra shit you don't want like register on 3rd party sites, advertise, etc.

La función de las contraseñas no es como antes, yo antes hacía click en la llave y me listaba todos mis usuarios para el sitio web que estaba visitando y podía elegir el que quería usar o eliminar los usuarios desde ese mismo lugar si ingresar a configuración. Es una función MUY útil y al mismo tiempo muy insignificante en términos de desarrollo como para no volver a agregarla.

Con respecto a lo que dije de la privacidad y plantilla es que Opera me ingresa el usuario y contraseña en un campo que no está destinado a colocar una contraseña para ingresar a un sitio web. Es una plantilla que yo puedo configurar para que otros usuarios la utilicen y si yo no me doy cuenta que Opera me ingresó esos datos y guardo la plantilla, los usuarios pueden tener acceso a estos datos, lo que representa un problema de seguridad.

Para colmo ahora con Opera 24 me muestra una vista previa de las pestañas que es MUY MOLESTA, porque ocupa toda la pantalla y tapa la vista de la pestaña que estoy viendo en el momento. Una porquería.

Eso me sucede desde Opera 12.16. Por eso para FB ya no uso O12.17

Hi guys, with Opera 24 when you put the mouse in an inactive tab now we have a big preview of that tab, and for the way i use Opera this is really annoing for me, I prefer the previous mode with the small preview. Is there a way to change this back?

Yes, people always complain, but this is not any complain, this is a complaint about something we loved and was taken away from us. The spirit of Opera, the features that made it more inclusive, practical, complete, different.

For example, you said you like Speed dial. What would you do without it? For me this feature is as important as other i said before and it's one of the main features that makes Opera different and practical, and this is one of the main reasons that made me change to Opera.

Small percentage????? I can confirm you are an Opera employee if you are sure about that "small percentage". I see a lot of people complaining about this not only in the forums.. Look at the social networks.

It's not laziness, some of us don't have time to invest in searching if there are some extensions that make Opera work like before. And whenever I want to recommend Opera what will i say? "Ohh, donwload opera, but with extension a, b, c and d because with the default browser you wont find nothing new from the others."

In this competitive world if you want to win you have to make the difference from the others and i know the common user, which are the vast majority of users, they won't use extensions. They just use what you put in front.

If you like minimalist, you could do so with the old Opera, that was another great feature, customizable.

I know the new Opera is faster and works better but theres no big difference with other browsers like before. When i started using old opera i always had many problems at several sites, we all suffer that, but all the functions of opera kept me gripped and made me ignore those problems. Mainly the speed dial, the password manager was GREAT for me, the bookmarks, dragon fly was better in my opinion, the private tabs and the customizable Opera was.

So "lem729", if we all suffer the problems with presto that other browsers didn't have, and you say you don't care about all the functions that old opera has, what made you a user of the old opera? I don't understand..

Extensions? The extensions are not made by Opera and no one can assure me that with new updates of Opera i won't have problems with extensions, nor do I have the trust gives me Opera.

Months have passed and nothing has changed, many users are complaining and we have no answers. Why does it take so long? Or they don't plan to answer our complaints?

Come on "lem729", you are a Opera employee, you can't defend the ChrOpera! Open your eyes and see the amount of angry users that are claiming the old opera options. For me Opera definitely was THE BEST browser, i WAS a BIG Opera fan. Now I'm just outraged, months have passed and nothing has changed. None of the old features that distinguished Opera from the other browsers has been added.

I've been an Opera user for right around 18 years now, and used to be on the beta testing team, and everything we used to love about Opera has been stripped away in lieu of what appears to simply be a clone of Chrome with an Opera skin over it. Estoy absolutamente indignado con Opera, no pude ser que luego de meses no hayan vuelto a colocar las opciones que lo diferenciaban de los demás y lo hacían EL MEJOR navegador del mundo. Siempre recomendando Opera y los usuarios que lo probaban gracias a mi recomendación me daban la razón. A pesar de que a mi no me quedaban dudas de que era el mejor NO LO USABA NADIE y sin embargo parece que no les importó retener los pocos usuarios que los seguimos (pocos comparado con los demás navegadores).

Somos muchos los usuarios molestos por esto y no nos hacen caso.
PERDÍ todos mis marcadores, eran muchos y estaban ordenados, no entiendo por qué no está la opción marcadores como antes. Estante? Barra de marcadores? Qué es eso?? ¡¡¡Esta todo desordenado!!!! No me permite ordenar por categorías.

Como para algunos sitios web manejo varias cuentas la opción de la llave para seleccionar el usuario y contraseña que necesitaba utilizar era PERFECTA y me ahorraba tiempo. Ahora esto me trae complicaciones, sobretodo en una web que tiene una plantilla y automáticamente me coloca un usuario y contraseña donde no corresponde, lo que me puede traer problemas de seguridad si no lo elimino.
Las pestañas privadas!!!! Dónde están???
Todo lo mencionado y MUCHAS opciones más que espero que algún día vuelvan, si no es así sería bueno que nos informen para buscar otros rumbos.
Llevamos meses esperando sin avances ni respuestas en estos temas.
¿¿TANTO cuesta agregar estas funciones que llevamos MESES?? Cuando cumplamos un año esperando que tenemos que hacer? ¿Una placa recordatoria en señal de duelo?
Opera 12.17 ya no sirve porque no funciona para los sitios más visitados y Opera 23 es una porquería veloz, pero no deja de ser una porquería.
Respeten a los usuarios por favor. Gracias, un ex fanático, ex defensor y ex difundidor de Opera, el ex mejor navegador del mundo.
