All I can say is that it is the truth - the version number goes up, but none of the features that made Opera better than the rest are coming back. For Christ's sake - you guys don't even have an RSS reader anymore! Click on an Atom or RSS feed and all you get is the raw XML and no option to open it in an actual reader.
This is getting pathetic. It's almost like you want us all to leave.
I get constant cookie mismatches when trying you log into sites using my Google account. Seems to be a running trend with WebKrap based browsers...
Ok, I reinstalled the New Opera, Not because I plan to use it, but purely because i like to screw with and tweak software, that what my kind of people do, Now the Biggee, Opera removed Tidy Bookmarks from thier extensions site, Why did they do this ? Most likely the reason is, They Do Not Want You Using Bookmarks, The Only bookmarks extension that actually worked, they removed. Chew on that one for awhile
The recent decisions are pushing me away. Why switch to Blink from Presto? Why remove bookmarks and act like no one uses them, then remove the only good extension that handles bookmarks? Why import bookmarks TO SPEED DIAL (retarded move)? Why when every new version comes out, that there are no improvements and no old features being added back?
I honestly think they want every user to go away. The only thing keeping me here is that Firefox and it's derivatives are god-awful (come on, Mozilla - does the text always need to garble itself for no reason?), Google Chrome is lame and feels awkward, and IE is IE. Safari doesn't even count as a browser - and it's Apple crap.
I can't tell if this is in here, but how about a "find" functionality? For example, right now it would be handy to be able to search this page for the word find.

Why get rid of Mouse Gestures?
Mouse gestures are still in, just not the visual mouse gestures
On the Panels, I enjoyed the look (and the display of information it could provide), but it's not essential to me. They could do it as an option if it doesn't impair browser performance or isn't so costly as to be impractical.
It really doesn't have to be in the panel, but I'd very much like the tools that were in the panel to come back - especially Info & Links - handy for development, and even finding hidden links on pages
My biggest want however is DragonFly. The webkit debugger is absolutely horrible, makes my job a pain in the neck. If they ignore every single one of my suggestions, PLEASE consider DragonFly.
I just downloaded Opera what a waste of time. I have used Firefox for years but with their sudden political statement I no longer wanted to use them. Opera I cannot import bookmarks they don't have a search bar or favorites bar Nothing. Guess I will keep searching for a new browser. Opera you just failed to capitalize on a great opportunity.
Opera 12 was loaded with features, but someone higher up got the bright idea to switch renderers from the already well established Presto to Google Blink, which pretty much shot 90% of the features that made Opera unique into outer space, and nuked them.
I've used Opera since 2006, and it was a great browser - but this recent switch pretty much put Opera in the same state as Google Chrome was when it first came out... devoid of features and pretty much unappealing.
Hopefully most of the features that made Opera good will come back soon.
Unfortunately, I was forced to upgrade because version 12 was becoming unusable on youtube and google+.

Stackable tabs
Open tab next to active tab
Bookmarks (or at the very least, have the Bookmark importer import to STASH instead of Speed Dial - importing to speed dial is a god awful mess). Also, you might want to consider having folders in Stash so it will at least work like bookmarks.
DRAGONFLY. I've said this a million times - the webkit debugger SUCKS HORRIBLY.
Visual mouse gestures
Right-click on new tab button, and get a context menu (which includes PRIVATE WINDOW... I know it can't be done in tabs anymore)
Left panel - with all it's tools like Info, Links, etc... maybe even a few new ones.
THE NUCLEAR OPTION - all of the custom Delete Private Data options in 12
Some way to manage local storage like in 12
The ability to configure external apps for unsupported protocols (like TELNET, IRC, MMS, RTSP, FTP, etc..)
Not to mention that there needs to be an easier way to import the Opera 12 speed dial entries instead of having to go through the speeddial.ini file and add them manually.
