@naheed Hi Naheed, I disabled the hardware acceleration and also Adblock Plus. Now Opera is running perfectly again.

What version of Opera and what OS? I can't confirm in Opera 64.0.3417.73 64-bit on Windows 10. When toggling the sidebar, there's no difference in the bookmark bar text like in the picture when toggling the sidebar. I tried dark mode and set up the same icons in the sidebar as you. No difference.

If you goto the URL opera://settings/system, turn off hardware acceleration and restart, does it still happen?

Try disabling all your extensions. They shouldn't affect the bookmarks bar, but try just in case.
