RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@howdyimswim Thanks so much @howdyimswim! Trying to do my best over here and it's reassuring to get some appreciation like yours every once in a while for it.

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@mich1 true. Unfortunately this is technically impossible to do for an extension. I'd love to have this myself. But there's just no way to do so.

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@kevvv: 4.2.2 is live and fixes the issue. Sorry for the trouble. I've been developing this extension for more than 10 years now. Mistakes happen every now and then...

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@fin4l Sorry for that! An update is on its way!
To make it shut up immediately:- open modern scroll's options page
- open a browser console there
- execute
chrome.storage.sync.get({last_dialog_time: 0, dialogs_shown: {}}, s => { s.dialogs_shown[Date.now()] = "#hello_again"; chrome.storage.sync.set(s);});

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@krokigeci I read about this happening for quite some people now. In theory it should show up no more than once every six months (even less under certain conditions). How often do you get the popup? And are you using multiple devices with the extension?

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@mich1 you can right-click the interface and choose to hide it (temporarily or always) in the context menu if it gets in your way.

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@maximkoshevoi Unfortunately it's not. I've spent countless hours trying to find any hack / circumvention / whatever. It's simply impossible by design. As soon as an API becomes available you can bet on me adding it though.

@max1c Unfortunately the page is password protected. If you can point me to any page that is freely accessible, I'll gladly take a look.

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@max1c: The catalog is something special. Opera blocks extensions on its own extension store. You'll see it's working in any other browser (Vivaldi or Chrome for example).

RE: modern scrollOpera add-ons
@nownine: Yeah, sorry about that (actually, it's an issue that only YouTube can fix properly, but anyhow), it's fixed in 4.1

@marxitou: I have no idea what you're talking about. Do you have any steps to reproduce this issue?

RE: VivaldiLounge
@purgat0ri Sorry for that. We need a very strong SPAM filter that sometimes is too aggressive and catches ordinary users. If you feel like you were banned for no reason, just drop us a message to support@vivaldi.com. We will be glad to help you out and we still love you no matter what!

Fix window dimensions in Windows 10 TP builds 10041 and aboveOpera for Windows
Hi guys,
this is a small guide for those of you using Opera on Windows 10 TP build 10041 and above. You probably noticed that Opera is bigger than your screen when maximized and auto-hidden taskbar is inaccessible. Fortunately, you can fix this quite easily:
- open regedit
- open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
- change PaddedBorderWidth from -60 to 0
- restart
Everything should be fine again now.
