I have the same update with Mint 20.3 Cinnamon 5.2.7 . The Linux kernel is 5.4.0-109-generic, and the desktop icon is opening up maximized. It's the start menu icon that opens in a small window like Tor does.

Opera update showing wrong dateOpera for Linux
I am running Opera 85.0.4341.28 on Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon and the date for update checks is showing 24 hrs ahead, exactly.
Running a script in the developer console returns the correct date and time that shows in other browsers and the system settings.
Any thoughts as to why this is happening and how to fix it?

@johncarry12 Not as yet.
I am wondering if it has anything to do with the desktop calendar showing Mon as the start of the week instead of Sun. - Opera for Linux

Tried to get sudo with gedit admin:// and no joy. But the last update of Opera, 85.0.4341.47, fixed the desktop icon link. That now opens properly. The start menu icon, not so much; it still starts minimized. -

Couldn't find that file in my system files. Everything went fine until opera.desktop . All I found was the icon shortcut. -

@john-53 Did and done. Just updated to 85.0.4341.39, still not maximizing automatically.
