I am trying to use the utorrent extension. When I click on a torrent in opera and try to send it to utorrent, I get an error, and the torrent will not go to utorrent. Anyone have a fix for this problem. It worked on my old computer, but it crashed, and I am trying to set up the new computer, but I cannot get it to work.
I also tried it with a tor browser using a utorrent plugin, and I had the same problem. I am wondering if windows is blocking it.

Okay, I see "other speed dial" folder. How do I copy contents of speed dial to "other speed dial" DO I have to do it one folder at a time?
Just go a new laptop. I use to use the extension evernote clearly. It was an awesome to deal with popups and gave a clean, very readable page. it has been discontinued. The replacement evernote clipper is a poor substitute. Anyone found something similar or better to clearly. Chrome has some similar extensions, but they are missing for opera.

I did not know about the Temporary Download folder. I found the folder, and it was empty. I think it must get cleaned when I run crapcleaner, but I think its been a while since I used cc, so there should be some files in there. IDK, go figure.
I miss being able to open a file without downloading it. It is such a pain. You use to have the option of saving or opening. Now you have to save (download) it, and then you have to delete them.
Is there anyway to open a pdf without first downloading it.
Is it possible to save directly to trash? What would be the path?
In old opera (Presto), you can go back without page reloading, can you do that in new Opera. How do you make it do that?
Also did Opera ever open-source the presto engine?
Please make sidebar for discover and bookmarks, thinner, adjustable, expandable, and/or removable to enlarge screen.
In fact, make all side bars adjustable.
I understand that developing a new Browser is challenging, and I hope they will develop a chromium browser as feature rich as Opera 12, but right now there is no clear reason to choose Opera over Chrome because the surfacing experience is pretty much identical except for google apps with are pretty convenient.

I would like to see a list of those features that have been restored. I have been using Opera since the mid 90's, and I see nothing in the chromium opera that resembles presto opera. I only use Opera for discover now when I want a different random selection of articles, and for the speed dial, but now I mostly use Chrome. I was using stash, which I started to like, but they discontinued it. Opera and Chrome are so similar that sometimes I forget which one I am using.
WOW that is an improvement. Unfortunately, the highest resolution on my version of windows is 1440 X 900. I did change the scaling to 100%, and this got me one extra story per row, sometimes three stories per row. Too bad you cannot reduce the width of the sidebar or uncheck it.
RESOLUTION IS 1440 X 900 Scaling is 125%.
I am not sure why this is relevant. These were the same settings before Opera updated and everything was fine.
I do not know how to post screen shots on this forum. I do not think they allow it anymore. At 100%, I get one story, abd a side bar that takes up 25% of the screen.
You use to be able to view many stories at a time, now you can only view two stories at a time and the side bar is hugh. WTF. Why do they keep making all these changes to opera. Why do they not allow us to customize opera they way each person likes it as was the case with Opera using presto.
The food network home page does not show the link to log in to your account. It shows up in google chrone. but not Opera. I would post a screen shot, but it does not seem possible in this new forum.
On a side note, I thought switching to Blink was suppose to increase innovation and compatibility. I experience way more issues/problems with Opera than Chrome. The constant changes to opera make it difficult to master the browser, and Chrome has become pretty much my default browser.
All the features that made Opera 12 desirable, namely, customizeability, seem to be gone, and now opera just seems to be a bad clone of Chrome.
Is their a webpage that lists Opera strengths and advantages, maybe I am missing something.
I do like the Opera speed dial, and I use it in lieu of bookmarks. This is definitely better than Chrome, and the primary reason I stay with Opera, but beyond this, Opera does not seem to have the advantages it offered with Opera 12.
It just seems like Opera has lost its identity because I do not know what its curb appeal is suppose to be.
The new update screwed up discover. The drop down menu for the categories freezes the screen and take over a minute to drop down.
I only used it occasionally, now I will not be using it at all.
