This is an option in Firefox, one I often use. It's very convenient to search numerous items from an article, then browse the results later.
Seems it should be simple to implement Perhaps as an extension.

What extension? What permissions? Sure I'll accept, but how?
This reminds me of the perfidious Windows bug where you might see the error message, "The system cannot find the file specified." What system? Which file? Specified by whom?
This is a bug I tell you, and I call on Opera developers / extension developers to grep through the source looking for that string. Find the code and add a sprintf() statement that would insert the name of the extension, at the very least.

Other browsers do not seem to have this trouble. Are they breaking the law?
I'm sortof new to Linux, but would love to use my favorite browser --Opera.
All of the suggestions to make it work seem really strange and weird. To my simplistic thinking they should be unnecessary.
Please help me understand.
