How do I get rid of or replace the Google search on the Speed Dial? I added DuckDuckGo to my search engines, but Speed Dial still shows and uses Google?

Now on Opera beta 43.0. I can disable the plug-ins, but when i restart Opera they are enabled again. How do I get rid of all plug-ins permanently? My online searches all seem to refer to old versions. I cannot find the plug-ins in Windows Uninstall programs.

I seem to remember a long time ago that Opera could pretend to be IE or Firefox. Is this still possible? Amazon Seller web site refuses to work with Opera. It tells me to upgrade to an inferior Web Browser. Using Firefox is a pain.

How do disable the Chrome PDF viewer? I want to download all PDF files, then view them with the Foxit Reader.

I just installed Opera v22. During installation, I told it to use the F:\apps\Opera directory where v12 was. I avoid installing anything on the C drive. I expected it to wipe out v12, but both versions work now. The only difference is they changed Opera.exe to Launcher.exe. So I will have to change my shortcut link. My Vipre firewall has not complained at all.

Thank you for the response. With Opera v12, when I opened a web page, the flash player would start automatically, with advertising. I usually did not want this, so I had a check box to enable/disable plug-ins that I used several times a day. It looks like I may not need this with v22. The flash player does not seem to start unless I click on it. A big improvement. Thanks for your time.
