I rummaged thru old posts about this topic going back a few years. Noone ever got a resolution.

[I have this problem both on Mac and Android, latest updates for each as of Mar 23, 2021.]

Issue: Even after completely wiping everything except passwords (cookies, history, etc.), when opening a new Private Window [aka: Incognito mode in Chrome] it will pull in the entire list of related previously typed searches and address, suggesting a range of related URL's, addresses.

Additionally, in normal Windows, the same lists of suggestions present themselves for a given search. For example.. if I type "ru" several suggestions related to prior articles about the Russian Donbass appear, as well as search suggestions for "russia donbass"/"russian donbass".

This happens with any input into the Address Bar.

Before offering suggestions, these are the following items I have configured, or cleaning tasks completed.

• Wiped clean the entire browser except passwords
• disabled "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar"
• selected "Block third-party cookies"

Do I need to manually find a resource or plist file to clean this?? Where is it?
