@burnout426 I can try changing that setting before joining my next call. but If it works in Chrome and Vivaldi I see no reason why Opera should need it off.

It's 2024 and I am still having the issue when I join a zoom call in Opera

Chromium version:123.0.6312.106No issues if I join using Chrome.
Audio works fine in Opera on other sites like youtube etc.
I do have the standalone version of Opera also installed on the same laptop but on a different folder

If it helps this is a ACER Swift 514-55TA with 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz 16 GB RAM.

General[Duplicated]"Your extension was disabled because it is corrupted. Go to the extensions manager to repair it."
Got the popup but unable to tell which Extension was disabled. I already have a few disabled extensions, so cannot tell which one was disabled by Opera.. now I do not see the message anymore after I clicked on the button to go to extension.
Is there log file somewhere I can look up to see these historical messages ?

@leocg While the dev team may envision how their app should work it is finally the customer that decides how to use the solution. Learned that when I used to develop in a past life. One thing we can do as developers is to see how the tool is used and make it so it is useful to all.
Agree with OP that having the ALT+D option is nice and if it is something that can be reintroduced (given it was available in earlier versions) than there is very little reason not too.
Telling users full screen should not be used all the time should not really be an option. the user's choice should not be curtailed.I created an account just to comment on this as I think user Choice plays a big part in the success of the browser.
