I already reported the problem to opera, as I said above. Thanks for your attempts to fix the thing. As I said, I have been using Opera for many years and still love it, but the support of Opera is not accessible enough and should be better. There should be a way to get in touch with them, not just a ticket and then hoping that they may or may not read it. I hope that they are on it now and provide an update. I report here, as soon as there is a an update that fixed it.

RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
You mean the rules instead of the FAQ, right? And you couldn't follow any of them?
You said, I need to open a new thread
To discuss your issues with other sites that are not related to the problem we are discussing in this topic.
leocg, right now you seem to be an overeager meticulous admin. You have not been precise with your suggestion and now you say that I'm guilty for posting another thread as if it was a crime.
Anyways, your tip opera://flags helped half way: the game at least loads now again, but still I can't push the button. This is definetely a Opera/Chromium problem as other browser can run the game. -
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
@leocg
I read the FAQ and how to post problems before!
You said, I need to open a new thread and then you closed it. What do you actually want?I don't think that anyone can help me in this forum and I hope that Opera's engineers have recognized the problem by now and are on it to fix it.

RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
@leocg
I started a new thread as you suggested:
https://forums.opera.com/topic/21659/unresolved-webpage-problems -
unresolved webpage problemsOpera for Windows
Hi everyone,
I started a thread here
https://forums.opera.com/topic/21517/can-t-play-flash-game-in-tipp24-com/22
which couldn't be resolved and leocg suggested to open a new thread.
I ask everyone who has similar problems to please reply and tell me, if you found a solution.
The update to v.46.0.2597.39 did not fix it.
The game on https://www.tipp24.com/schiffeversenken does not load or work.
If I click on https://www.finya.de on "Mit Facebook anmelden" it doesn't react.
How can I possibly fix these "problems"? (apart from switching to another browser)
Kind regards
BF -

@segros
it might be your firewall that blocks the connection to the update server without telling you -
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
Why is it called "help"@opera.com? There is no help to expect from them. All they could "help", is to advice me to update flash. Which I did already before. They say they do not provide any help with flash problems. I don't even know, if it's a flash problem. The site I mentioned is not the only site where I accounter problems. Other sites either don't load correctly or a button is not working. I liked Opera for many years and it has been my standard browser, but if Opera can't fix their browser so that it works like other browsers, then I have to unfortenately change to firefox or another browser.

RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
There seems to be no fix for my problem soon. The fact that there is no email where one can contact Opera is not nice. Other browsers work. I've been using Opera for many years, but if there is no help I will switch to another browser.
- Opera for Windows
-
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
yes, the rest is using hardware acceleration, but unfortenately I can't turn it off, like I wrote above.
I reported the problem to opera but I guess it takes a while till they fix - if they read it.And one other thing I realized: in the latestest version of Opera, Opera Turbo disappeared. Is that the case also in your version?

RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
opera://gpu:
WebGL: Hardware accelerated but at reduced performance
Drivers older than 2009-01 on Windows are possibly unreliable: 72979, 89802, 315205
Disabled Features: flash_stage3d, gpu_compositing, panel_fitting, flash3d, gpu_rasterization, accelerated_2d_canvas, accelerated_video_decode, webgl2, accelerated_webgl, flash_stage3d_baseline, accelerated_video_encodecould it really be the "old" drivers? Until then they worked fine...

RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
I wonder who that someone might be...
just kidding.
Can you please give me an email adress of Opera? On the Opera site I have unfortunately not found an email adress. -
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
I guess that's the problem. I tried to use the right mouse button on the game, but flash settings doesn't open. the game just flickers. I hope that either Opera or Adobe will supply a new update soon because the game used to work before I updated to the new versions of flash and Opera.
I give up now and wait, if a update will fix this.
Thank you for your help, anyway. -
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
Windows 7 32-bit
46.0.2597.32
and after the update to this version, the game doesn't even load.
I tried all the settings, also in the Antivirus and the firewall. It seems to be really Opera or it's settings. -
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
Hi leocg and joshl
joshl, :), no you don't have to pay anything - and you're not logged in.
I tested around in the settings, but still it doesn't work. All software on my computer is up to date.
Can you maybe make screenshots of your settings? Maybe then I can find what is causing the problem. -
RE: Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
Hi leocg and joshl,
I tried it with Opera Turbo turned off - nothing. VPN turned off - nothing. Java is turned on - nothing.
Have you tried it there and does it work with your current opera? -
Can't play flash game in tipp24.comOpera for Windows
Hi,
I tried to play this little game here:
https://www.tipp24.com/schiffeversenken
but Opera doesn't allow me to click on the dice/cube button.
I have cookies turned on, tried to turn off the adblocker and
have all settings on allow.
What could be the problem? In other Browsers I can run the game.Kind regards,

RE: [Solved] Still being tracked when using Opera VPNOpera for Windows
@ cubot
where did you hear me shout? I just WROTE my concerns. I think you are the one who is a bit aggressive here.
And I know that Opera VPN is only browser based not a systemwide VPN.@ leocg and joshl
Please excuse me. You were right. I indeed found a old cookie which Ccleaner AUTOMATICALLY had excluded. I deleted it.And also I got a very competent and detailed answer from Mr. Wilton-Jones from the Opera support.
I paste it here for everyone who has questions about Opera VPN:Hi,
Thanks for your mail.
Google probably recognises you because you visited the Google site
before enabling the VPN, and it set a cookie to use for identification.
You can clear or disable cookies in the settings. You can also start a
private tab and enable VPN in it, so that none of your old cookies will
be used.Note that Google (and other websites) may also recognise your browser's
language setting. For example, if your browser language is set to
German, and you enable VPN with your location set to Canada, websites
may still give you German versions of their sites or German search
results, just because of your browser's language setting - not because
they have actually recognised you. If you care about this (it has no
privacy implications, and is actually useful to have websites work in
your chosen languages) you can change your browser language in the
settings. Opera menu - Settings - Browser - Languages - Specify your
preferred languages for webpages.your browser VPN generates a STATIC (!) Device-ID which can be used for tracking
The Device-ID cannot be seen by websites. It is used only by the
SurfEasy VPN server, eg. so that it can see that it granted permission
for your browser to use the VPN. If you wanted to, you can clear theDevice-ID (it will generate a new one next time you use the VPN) using
Opera menu - More tools - Clear browsing data - Third party services
data. (Note that this will make it very slightly slower when
reconnecting to the VPN, since it will need to generate the new ID.) You
can see more about how SurfEasy uses the subscriber ID in their privacy
policy here:
https://www.surfeasy.com/privacy_policy/Hope this clears things up for you.

RE: [Solved] Still being tracked when using Opera VPNOpera for Windows
@leocg
you obviously didn't understand what I meant or what's described in the article. Sorry.
And yes there needs to be betterment to the current so called VPN.@joshl
Nope, I delete my cookies after each surfseason with great care. That can't be the reason. It's really the virtually generated Device ID.Anyways thanks for your answers.
Meanwhile I mailed to the Opera support about this issue.

[Solved] Still being tracked when using Opera VPNOpera for Windows
Hi,
I've found this article:
https://gist.github.com/spaze/558b7c4cd81afa7c857381254ae7bd10
in which Mr. Spacek says, that the browser based VPN generates a STATIC (!) Device-ID which can be used for tracking. I already realized that youtube recognizes my browser ...
Can an Opera official please answer me, if Opera is willing to work on a fix for this?
Thanks.
