I had Opera V20 on a laptop. It ran awesome, never any issues, and never updated. All of a sudden, my Opera crashes and when I reopen it it somehow updated to V29. I do not want V29. I like V20.
Ok, so I find and download the V20 installer from Opera. But as soon as I run the installer, it just suto-updates back to V29!!
How can I install V20 without the auto-update hitting right away? I know I can delete the files it uses to update, but I can't do that fast enough before it is already launching and updating. I even tried pulling the network connection, and then the window just froze.
Is there a way to remove the auto-update EXEs before it gets installed? I have V20 at home as well, and I'm afraid I'll have the same issue later.
This is what is making rethink FireFox again...
