On starting my Win 10 Pro laptop I found a radically changed appearance of Opera - and all my bookmarks had disappeared. Now, I cannot even start Opera (102.0.4880.56): I'm having to post this message via Microsoft Edge... I tried to use System Restore to a few days back, but an aspect of my Kaspersky AV will not let me - and I cannot discover how to disable the AV. I've looked in Opera Sync and found a record of bookmarks & tabs - but cannot load Opera. Suggestions please.

Update has crashed bookmarksOpera for Windows
Despite my taking precautions, Opera has updated itself overnight - and it's catastrophic. All my many bookmarks, including those for finance/banking websites, have disappeared, and I can see no means of retrieving them currently. The previous update caused me problems, and to read The Times I've had to use Microsoft Edge; but this latest change is hugely damaging. How dare Opera screw up my browser! What the hell can I do?
