Damn it, I forgot to say I use the latest stable Opera 30 installed on Win7SP1 x64. I always forget that.

No GPU h264 decoding?Opera for Windows
Hi,
I have installed the Chrome extension h264ify into Opera to switch from VP9 to h264 video format in the YouTube HTML5 video player so I could benefit from GPU video decoding.
In Chrome (with h264ify uinstalled), when I start an YouTube video, I can see in the Chrome task manager the tab with the video drains 10-20% of CPU whereas in Opera the same video drains 50-60% of CPU.
The #disable-accelerated-video-decode feature in opera://flags special page is set to its default disabled state. On the opera://gpu special page there's Video Decode: Hardware accelerated line. When clicking on the statistics for experts button in the HTML5 video player it says it uses AVC for a codec.
Where's the problem? Is it a bug? Thanks. - Opera for Windows

I forgot to say I use Windows 7 SP1 x64 and Opera is the latest one (30) but also had this problem in an earlier version.

Page CrashedOpera for Windows
Hi,
when trying to load a page in Opera, I always get "Page crashed" error. I get this on every page, even the settings page. I tried to remove all extensions to no avail. A workaround is to run Opera in compatibility (Windows Vista SP 2) mode. The interesting thing is I get a similar error when running Chrome or Chromium - no page works, not even the settings page and only the compatibility mode fixes it. I believe the problems may be interconnected since all the mentioned browsers use blink...? Thank you for help.
