Ahhhh, yes! That's it! Thanks! I can switch it back to my favourite style but I have to do them all manually. Open the bookmarked page, click on the heart, choose a thumbnail image and voila! Too bad there's no way to switch them all at once. I remember some time ago there was an option to reload all thumbnails with one click - and after a second all thumbnails looked like small images of that particular website.
I think I have auto update on, so from the latest (back then) to the lastest (current). My current version is 39.0.2256.48. I'm on Win7 Pro 64-bit. This unwanted change of start page occured yesterday or day before yesterday (I don't remember).
For a long time my start page had miniatures of bookmarked websites, but after recent update (I think there was one yesterday or something like that) all my miniatures are UGLY. They changed into rectangles in one color with a huge name of the website on it. Currently it looks ugly and is extremely confusing and I would like to switch somehow to my older settings, but I was unable to find how can I do it in the settings. Please don't tell me it's impossible...
