Yes we will try to optimize the view for synced tabs. It might not be first prio though, since things work, but we will get to it eventually.
You can switch layout to list from the bottom elft most icon. but note its common layout for all tab sections, private, normal and synced.
Workspaces is reported and we will look into that issue, it might be a problem on the desktop side, them not syncing all workspaces (but if that is the case we will report that to the desktop team)
Synced tabs does not sync the thumbnail thats why we use a placeholder, but its not an optimal solution from the prespective if a user need to distinguish between synced and normal. It should not be that hard though, its a different section.
History sync is on our todo.
