I second this. When using other browser it'll ask me if I want to open the link in its application (e.g Play or youtube) or using the installed browser, but opera doesn't show that dialogue. And yes, i tried to clear Opera and Play defaults

This option was available in every browser I used except Opera. It's basically to be able to share the selected text after selecting it. This is extremely useful for, for example, translating a vague word by sharing it to Google Translate.
