Hi, after the last Opera update, the sidebar is visible all the time. I enjoyed the previous behavior: The sidebar is visible only in the Speed Dial tab! When websites are opened, the sidebar is not visible. I couldn't find out how to get this behavior back. (On a side note, since I'm complaining about the update, the history tab also got worse, because the items are taking more space vertically and not enough space horizontally! Also, sometimes I can't delete a single item or I need to click it several times. It's the first time an update has worsened my Opera experience.)

RE: Deleting separate History entries is slow beyond any common sense.Opera for Windows
@burnout426 Hi, these are some information I can give right now. It's regular opera running on Windows 10 Home and this is the about:
Version:99.0.4788.13
Opera is up to date
Update stream:Stable
System:Windows 10 64-bit
Chromium version:113.0.5672.127There's just one 2Tb drive (mechanical).
Anyway, I don't have this kind of problem with other browsers (I have Firefox and Edge installed, but I prefer Opera).

RE: How do I get the old look back? Do I have to downgrade?Opera for Windows
The animation when switching workspaces is indeed terrible. Also there's another thing that annoyed me: the scroll bar doesn't touch the side of the screen. So you can't access it just throwing the mouse all the way to the right.

I use Opera for a long time and always recommended it, but unfortunately these "small" things, like the delay when deleting history entries, impossibility to disable the mute button in tabs, the existence of a border, crashes where I lost all my open tabs ... are pushing me towards Vivaldi.

I got one feature back which is hide the sidebar, so that's what I use when throwing the mouse all the way to the left. Was it the case that you could use the mouse wheel even with this feature active? That would be awesome, there's no reason to kill the mouse wheel on the borders.

I've just updated: 103.0.4928.16. Same thing, no changes, slow as usual.

@superkoshej613 Haha ok, fair enough. I mean, better than nothing. But the developers could indeed take a look at some simple things that are broken, before launching these fancy stuff which I'll never use, like ai prompt or lucid mode.

@superkoshej613 Nice, I'll try to delete the history when possible.

It happens with me too. It takes several seconds to delete an item from history.

@notveryhappy Ohhh, damn. It looks like a simple thing for the developers to fix and it's so annoying.

Speed Dial - Background Colors ChangedOpera for Windows
Hi, I was just getting used to the random colors that Opera chose for my links in Speed Dial and out of the blue it's all apparently random again. This had happened once before a long time ago and happened again. Is there a way to prevent that or save the state of the colors?
Also, there is a "set custom image" for each link, I think it would be easy to let us choose just a custom plain color, right?
