Dear Opera Support Team,
To be completely honest, my patience has run out. For several versions now, the push notification issue remains unresolved, despite multiple updates. Every time I receive a notification and click on it, instead of opening in a new tab, Opera GX opens a blank new window with no redirect to the actual content.
This issue persists in all of the following versions:
117.0.5408.100
117.0.5408.140
117.0.5408.162
117.0.5408.205 (current – LVL 6)
I am using Windows 11 Pro (Version 24H2, Build 26100.3624) and I need a browser that works flawlessly and reliably for my daily journalistic work.
Yes, I have all Opera versions installed. But Opera GX is the only one that actually supports my workflow and makes my job easier. Now, I am being forced to switch to other browsers that slow me down and disrupt my efficiency, which is unacceptable for my professional routine.
I am demanding that you finally take this bug seriously and fix it immediately. It is absolutely unacceptable that a browser marketed as advanced and productivity-focused cannot even handle something as fundamental as push notifications properly.
I expect a real answer – and real action.
