@burnout426 Apologies for the late response but I have checked that and windows defender doesn't cause it as i know others who only use windows defender and their opera works just fine.

I have tried the regular opera installer and the gx installer but for some reason although i have uninstalled the installers and reinstalled them it just closes before it can even start installing, idk if there are any programs on my computer that may be causing it to do this but i have been trying for months and for no reason it keeps crashing. I am using windows 11 (i think 64 bit). I tried getting the installer from both chrome and microsoft edge.
