Hi! To increase the reliability of Opera lately I've had to lock down V8 optimizer security, adding sites manually one at a time. I’ve taken a similar approach with third-party cookies.

For security settings areas where sites have to be defined one at a time, it would be nice to have a checkbox or toggle to pre-populate the list based on my existing Bookmarks Bar bookmarks (favorites) and/or Speed Dial bookmarks (the icons are the same anyway, right?). This would speed things up a lot, especially when I have to reset Opera when it misbehaves

Interesting. I have been having to manually edit posts on forums to change hash marks ("") to quotation marks (“”) for social media posts. When searching Google I found this previous issue that actually marked the respecting of macOS’s smart-quote setting as a bug(!):

It would be nice to have the same functionality on macOS as my mobile phone when deailing with quotes, since it is an OS-level setting that can be turned off. Is there a particular reason why chromium browsers don’t repsect this setting?

I tried resetting settings, and I tried manually setting the image in bookmarks. This problem appeared after upgrading to Opera 100. Using latest version of Ventura and Opera

I can't bring myself to create a clean profile folder because I don't want to rebuild all my bookmarks again. It would just be nice if the tiles could refresh properly after the proper image has been selected in bookmarks. Thanks!

Hi! I'm enjoying Opera One a lot.

I just wanted to suggest a purple background for the address bar in private mode, similar to Opera 99. The white-on-black is very loud and helpful for temporary sessions to remind me to close the browser window, but I did like the more subtle cue from the previous version.

Maybe the color could be customized in settings?

I'm seeing this happen consistently for WSJ.com and sporadically for Mashable. After refreshing the fonts load properly, but not at first. Using the latest version of Opera on the latest version of macOS Ventura. Hardware acceleration on, GPU usage off

@canv4s Not sure what you mean, but you can show and hide the sidebar in the view menu to reveal more functions

@leocg It's a bad idea if it's a permanently visible browser element. Microsoft Edge did it a more sensible way (and I never thought I'd be able to say that about anything Microsoft lol)

@leocg That's a visual bug, yeah. There is no website or software product I know of that leaves your profile picture blank once you upload a photo. It's a placeholder image. You should at least be able to hide the image.

Why is the account picture in the browser toolbar still blank even after I upload an Opera account photo? Weird.

The new generic account picture should be replaced by the one I upload when I edit my Opera account picture. It feels like an ad and can't be hidden easily. Very obnoxious
