Hey guys the latest update breaks ebay desktop mode ,half of the site you click on now in ebay desktop mode open up in mobile format.i just checked on my other phone with a slightly older version of opera v62.2 and there is no issue with ebay please I beg you guys fix this.ive checked the site setting in opera them go to ebay and it has a toggle to make it defualt to desktop but if I toggle it on then go back and check its toggles off back to mobile view.
I only use opera in desktop mode since the begging of time
Opera is set to desktop and all other sites are fine it's just ebay that will open in desktop but if I click on my profile or the message centre it goes to a really outdated mobile view I rember seeing back in the nokia days java type thing

If the file was already deleted and you just want to remove it from the list of downloads, you should use the Clean option and not the Delete one.

.yes that failed to delete messages only shows if the file has allready been deleted beforehand from the device.then i go to opera downloads and try to delete the file.opera immediately deletes it from the download list and its gone but then show the failed message, but opera still deletes it from the download list, so it's no different to using the clear function if the file was already deleted I just thought it was a bug.anyway cheers for clearing that

@leocg it should not say failed to delete file when its deleting it anyway .why would it say failed to delete file when its deleting it anyway.i should say file does not exist and delete it. I'm asking the devs to fix it because when it says failed to delete file it makes you think the file was not deleted when It was deleted allready from the phone.im just giving feedback for the browser as others have noticed the this issue and its annoying the wording and could confuse people like it did for myself and others

Hi I wanted to see if you could fix this bug I found in opera.if I have a file I downloaded with opera on my phone ,then go into file manager or wherever and delete the file off the phone.then go into opera then go to the download section and them try to delete it,it does delete it as it's no longer there in the opera downloads but it says 1 download deleted then says failed to delete file. Should it not say file deleted then file doesn't exist anymore or file deleted because the file is deleted from device. It's just an annoying thing I noticed today.

Now if you do not delete the a file from the phone beforehand and then go to opera downloads and delete the file it will say file deleted. I hope you guys can fix this annoying text

Cant edit my posts so I'll reply to it instead. So 2 months ago the pop up was driving me mad.so I updated opera to the latest version v62 march I think and the pop up immediately stopped.now 2 months later the may v63 is out and low and behold the pop up is back telling me to update to the newest version. I'm deleting opera it's a shame as it's my favourite browser but opera should not be overriding our phones when we have them set to not update and product and service notifications blocked.i have all opera notifications blocked.been using opera since the beginning so it's such a shame

The pop up is back telling me to update the dam app at this point it's time to find a new browser as much as I love opera I cant take this bs from opera. If I want to update I will just dont keep pushing notifications to me telling me to update it

Dammit the update pop up is back I think its frlm opera and its forcing me to update a perfectly good app that I dont want to update

I think I sorted the problem I'll be back if the issue comes back.

Because I've scanned the phone and its clean.ive even factory reset it

Yes I have malwarebytes installed
Since clearing the data and cash from opera I've not seen the pop up come back yet
I'm not good with technology hence why I'm here asking for help with this opera and yahoo update pop ups
